Shipping & Returns
SHIPPING INFORMATION
All original artworks are shipped from our studio in Spain in premium packaging tailored to their medium. Paintings on canvas are removed from their stretcher bars, carefully rolled and protected inside a rigid PVC tube. Works on cardstock are packaged appropriately to preserve their integrity.
Shipments to the United States and eligible European destinations are arranged from Spain through Mail Boxes Etc., using FedEx or UPS, depending on the service selected for each order. All artworks are shipped with tracking and transport insurance included, subject to the terms and coverage of the selected service.
PREPARATION, DELIVERY TIMES AND FREE SHIPPING
Order preparation takes 3 business days before the artwork is handed over to the carrier. The following estimated delivery times include both preparation and transit:
Spain and Portugal: 5–10 business days.
Other eligible European destinations: 6–13 business days.
United States: 6–13 business days.
Shipping is free to all eligible destinations, with no minimum purchase amount.
These delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Customs procedures, shipping disruptions or other circumstances beyond TrujilloArt’s control may delay delivery. When you begin checkout, an estimated delivery date range will be displayed based on your destination and shipping option.
PREPARATION AND PACKAGING OF OUR ARTWORKS
Each canvas painting is prepared using a five-layer packaging protocol designed to protect it during international transit.
01 — Museum-grade protection
Covered with acid-free tissue paper and tape to preserve the paint layer.

02 — Thermal insulation
An intermediate layer of 3mm polyethylene foam to protect against impacts and temperature fluctuations.

03 — Waterproof sealing
Final wrap in high-density bubble wrap to cushion against shocks and repel moisture.

04 — High-resistance core
The artwork is placed inside a 4-inch rigid PVC tube to prevent any type of crushing.

05 — Certified exterior packaging
Shipped in a 39 × 6 × 6-inch Kraft cardboard prism box to comply with international transport regulations.

CANVAS RESTRETCHING AND LOCAL FRAMING
Works on canvas include full reimbursement of the cost of restretching at your destination. Take your artwork to a trusted local framing shop and send the receipt or invoice to info@trujilloart.com to request reimbursement. The outer decorative frame is not covered by this reimbursement.
For all works on cardstock, Trujillo reimburses the cost of local framing and matting. Have the work completed at a trusted local framing shop and send the receipt or invoice to info@trujilloart.com to request reimbursement.
These services are carried out locally and reimbursed upon submission of the receipt or invoice. Works on cardstock are shipped without a frame or mat.
CUSTOMS DUTIES AND IMPORT TAXES
TrujilloArt covers any customs duties, import taxes and customs clearance or handling fees that may apply to shipments to the United States and eligible European destinations, at no additional cost to the buyer. However, customs authorities or the carrier may request additional documentation from the buyer to complete customs clearance.
