Caída Libre | Original Painting by Trujillo
Free Fall is an original painting by Trujillo, created using mixed media on canvas.
Dimensions: 130 × 97 × 2.5 cm · Edges: painted · Year: 2024

A surreal visual experience
Free Fall captures the essence of surrealism through classic cars suspended in vibrant colored balloons that defy the laws of physics. Some appear to free-fall, while others fight gravity by clinging to their balloons. The work is a visual metaphor for freedom, nostalgia, and the fragility of dreams, built with glazes and impastos that give depth and texture to the composition.

Technique and detail
The mixed media technique allows for the combination of different materials and processes on the same surface, endowing the artwork with unique visual and tactile richness. Saturated colors contrast with the open sky, while clouds partially cover the falling balloons, creating a visual narrative full of tension and beauty.

Shipping and restretching
The artwork is shipped from Trujillo's studio in Spain to Europe and the United States, rolled in a rigid PVC tube and unframed to ensure greater safety during international transport. Upon receipt, you can take it to a local framer to have it restretched onto a wooden frame. Send us the ticket or invoice, and Trujillo will fully reimburse you for the cost of restretching.
The reimbursement covers only restretching. The frame and passe-partout are not included with this work; they are only included with works done on cardboard when expressly indicated.
